The SOUQ – Center for Urban Suffering Studies operates within the House of Charity and, in close connection with the social activities of the Foundation, studies the psychological and social dynamics that are created between the large metropolises and the people who live there.
It does this by proposing new models of understanding of these phenomena and by imagining solutions that favor social cohesion and peaceful coexistence. He carries out research, organizes conferences and seminars, publishes a six-monthly online magazine and a yearbook with Il Saggiatore.
